How to get consistent line thicknesses across files in Illustrator

This has been a major pain point for me, so I’ll keep this short and simple.

You can save the attributes of the lines in Illustrator using Graphic Styles, and then apply them to lines in other files:

This is particularly useful for keeping lineweights consistent. It saves a bit of work, and prevents you from having to type in each layer’s line weights manually.
